LED-Throwies at CYNETART Dresden

Last weekend GRL Berlin ran a wonderful LED-Throwie workshop at CYNETART festival in Dresden. Around 20 motivated participants joined in to make red, green, blue and yellow LED-Throwies – oh yes, no messing around there with colors – each color had its own table! One dark underpass at the Neustadt neighborhood got lucky to be picked as the new home of 700 shining Throwies.

Ready for take off

While facing a number of site specific and technology specific challenges we are getting closer to the opening of the “Cité”.  Very helpful, friendly, capable staff is making our set up here run relatively smooth  – Swiss summer and a beautyful scenery helps as well. Got some local graph writers testing the installation last night…

We’ll keep you updated!

LIGHT BOMBING at Lausanne City Festival

Simulation Light Bombing

Take a can in your hand and bomb on a building – all over – with light – no ladder or rope required. Graffiti Research Lab Germany presents a new generation of digital graffiti for physical architecture. Manipulating the look of a well known building, using your imagination, leaving your mark and your message, owning it for an evening. LIGHT BOMBIMG lets you interact with what seemed static, grey and unchangable with a push on a spray nozzle and a simple stroke of your hand.

If you are around, join us for our next event at Lausanne, Switzerland!

First Artist-Session happened! Thanks to gogoplata and Marianne in Berlin, thx to korean and canadian artists as well for this (here so early session!) Now Artists from Pappsatt have taken over the Berlin-Screen for an un-scheduled exclusive session. Who ever would like to take some time for drawing with bomBbIR in a really cosy and chilled athmosphere should come over now! We are suspecting it  to become more busy in the afternoon leading up to the next Artist Sessions at 4pm and 11pm! (Featureing KLUB7, Alesh One, Cren (CBS Crew) and poet73!)
